ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Kelly Kay Author is committed to making kellykayromance.com accessible to as many readers as possible, including readers with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to browse books, sign up for updates, and get in touch with ease.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, which is the most widely recognized standard for web accessibility. This is an ongoing goal rather than a one-time achievement, and we're continually working to identify and fix barriers as we find them.
Kelly’s Standard
Included a "Skip to Content" link so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass repeated navigation
Written descriptive alternative text for most images so screen reader users know what they're looking at
Used properly labeled form fields (name, email, message, etc.) on our newsletter and contact forms
Chosen a brand color palette designed to meet WCAG's minimum 4.5:1 text contrast ratio for body copy and calls to action
What’s been done?
Accessibility is not a "set it and forget it" task, and we know there's more to do.
We're actively reviewing the Site for areas to improve, including image descriptions, navigation structure, and color contrast in newer page designs.
Ongoing work
Some content on our Site, such as embedded music playlists, is provided by third-party platforms (like Spotify) that we don't control. We can't guarantee the accessibility of content hosted by outside services, but we choose partners that make a reasonable effort toward accessibility themselves.
